Norway
Norway is one of the countries that make up Scandinavia. It is located in the west of the region and brushes with the North Sea, with Sweden, with Finland, and with Russia to the north. The Kingdom of Norway is an interesting destination in the north of Europe. It is a country worth exploring in summer from north to south, and enjoying the many activities there are to do in the outdoors.
Norway is a country situated in the Scandinavian region of North Europe, with Oslo being it's capital, holding around 600,000 people...around 14% of the country's population.
As well as the main peninsula which makes up the country, Norway also has many islands such as Svalbard and Jan Mayen, and others which are situated out at sea. In the northern region of the country, Norway offers visitors some of the most spectacular scenery found anywhere in the world..with the famous Norweigan Fjords...carved out by glaciers over millions of years. Oslo is also a fantastic city to visit with its maritime history, gastronomy and culture.
Norway borders the Barents sea to the north, Finland and Russia to the North-East, Sweden to the East, and the North Atlantic the the West. The country is also home to a large part of the Scandinavian Alps, Lapland, , The Skagerrak Strait and the point where the Baltci Sea and North Sea meet.
